Do I still need to use wax on my textured kitchen ceramic tile?
Those floor tiles with lots of texture and nooks and crannies looked fabulous in the tile store but who knew they'd be so hard to keep clean! Some homeowners end up sealing the floor with wax so it would be easier to clean, but we have a better alternative. Wax is soft and dirt is easily trapped in it, it scratches easily, and it has to be stripped and replaced regularly. All you have to do is use GI's Floor Concentrate. Not only will deep craters stay clean without using a scrub brush, you don't even have to rinse it off.
Is GI's Floor Cleaner safe for stone tile?
Stone requires special care and a neutral pH cleaner, yet because some stones are porous, traditional stone cleaners have a hard time getting ground in dirt out of those crevices and pores. For porous stone, our Floor Cleaner just needs to soak for a few minutes to begin breaking down the dirt without hurting the stone yet leaving the surface deep down clean. Use of a soft bristled brush helps reach into those pores and speed up the process. Although rinsing isn't required, you may want to mop and rinse heavily soiled areas.
Can I use the floor cleaner concentrate in my automatic floor cleaner?
Yes, you can use the floor cleaner in an automatic floor cleaner - 1 oz makes 1 gallon, so you'd just have to adjust accordingly based on the appliance's capacity.
Is the floor cleaner pet safe?
Yes, the floor cleaner is both child and pet safe. Since the enzymes break down the organic matter back into its natural elements, it doesn’t even have to be rinsed off. There are no harsh chemicals, and it contains all natural ingredients. It's the only one of our products that has coloring (natural food safe quality), and that is simply because without it, the color is, let’s just say, less than attractive.
