Permanent Rigid HVAC Air Filter
This permanent MERV 9 HVAC filter is a "drop-in" replacement for existing disposable filters. It is up to 25 times more effective than regular filters in removing airborne dust, dander, and other contaminants. These electrostatic filters are made from special materials that develop their own safe electrostatic charge as air is drawn through the filter by your air-conditioner, heater, or furnace. With 90% of particles trapped during product testing, this charge clearly attracts contaminants like a magnet.
A layer of polypropylene fibers, known as the E-Layer, is composed of rectangle-shaped fibers arranged in an intersecting cross-pattern design that ensures greater stability of the electrostatic charge, reduced pressure drop, and prolonged efficiencies compared to other filters. Framed with rigid aluminum, these "wash and replace" HVAC air filters are designed to last the lifetime of the HVAC unit they are used with.
